Continuing our last post, we are featuring some additional exercises from Katy Bowman* which are sure to help your tired, achy feet. The fist is a Double Calf Stretch. Proper form for double calf stretch. Tightness in the backs of your legs can adversely affect the alignment of your pelvis, leading to problems with the pelvic floor as well as the spine and shoulders. Foot pain can be caused by all sorts of things. From standing for long periods to wearing tight or ill fitting shoes. Today, we would like to share two simple exercises that will get you started on the road to pain free feet. The first is a simple Calf Stretch. Wearing shoes with raised heals shortens calf muscles and the plantar fascia.
